
At least 27 students of Bayero University Kano, BUK, have been expelled by the institution for alleged involvement in examinations misconduct.
A statement by the institution’s Director, Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records, Hajia Amina Abdullahi, said eight other students were rusticated for same offence.
“The Senate’s decision was in accordance with the categories 20, 17 (AI, III, IV, V, VI, VII and XII) of the University’s General Regulations.
“Also, 22 other students were, however, warned by the Senate.”
