…Adopts Alex As Next Governor And Peter Obi President
Abia is unfortunately among the States in Nigeria that have suffered immensely since the adoption of Democratic system of government in the country ,due to bad leadership.
But this time around the people are not ready to compromise anything as they have vowed to choose the right set of people to lead them.
It is no longer news that Abians are mostly supporters of the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi. With Dr. Alex Oti contesting the governorship position on the platform of Labour Party, Abians believe the time has come for them to enjoy good and accountable leadership.
An interactive session between Abia women and wife of Dr. Alex Oti was another opportunity for them to consolidate their support for Labour Party.
The wife of the Labour party governorship candidate in Abia state, Mrs. Priscilla Otti on Monday had an interactive Town Hall meeting with a group of Abia women in Aba North.
Mrs. Otti who has been interacting with different women groups in different parts of Abia state as part of her husband’s campaign, encouraged the women to endeavor to get their PVC, and reiterated her husband’s commitment to recover the state from years of rudderless leadership when elected governor of Abia State come March 2023.
She reminded them of the disadvantages that face women in a badly governed society, and assured that the Alex Otti led-government would ensure effective integration of women vis-a-vis utilisation of their talents and energies for the development of the state.
She appealed to them to intesify efforts in spreading the gospel of positive change which Alex Otti and Labour Party are bringing to Abia state, and reassured that Dr. Alex Otti’s ambition is driven by the passionate desire to develop Abia state for the good of all.
The highly excited women pledged to continue to throw their support behind Dr. Otti, and restated their conviction that he is capable of salvaging the state.
