The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, collected a total of ten point one trillion naira for 2022.
This is the highest collection in the history of the service.
The Executive Chairman of FIRS, Mr. Mohammed Nami made this
known at a news briefing in Abuja.
He said the milestone in the collection was reached as a result of the optimization of its administration and the cooperation of stakeholders including it’s staff.
Mr. Nami also thanked President Muhammad Buhari and the Minister of Finance, Hajya Zainab Ahmed for their support and guidance in achieving the feat.
