Traffic Advisory As Buhari Visits Lagos Tuesday 22nd March

Please be informed that President Mohammed Buhari will be in Lagos tomorrow 22/03/2022 for some official duties.
He will be commissioning the newly built International Airport.
He will also commission the Lekki Deep Seaport.
And lastly, he will also Commission the Dangote Fertiliser plant at Lekki free trade zone.

Impact of itinerary :

The International airport will witness heightened security presence starting very early in the morning of Tuesday 22/03/2022. This will cause delays of flights. Hence, those who are scheduled for early morning flight are advised to get to the airport latest 5am or have their flights rescheduled.

He will then move from Ikeja via the helicopter to Dangote Fertiliser plant Helipad, for the Plant Commissioning. However, he will further move via road from Dangote Fertiliser plant, to the Lekki Deep Seaport for the Commissioning of the Seaport. He will later also, return to the Dangote Fertiliser plant from Lekki Deep Seaport via the road to join his helicopter to the airport where he will join his flight back to another destination.

In view of this, Road users along Lekki-Epe road will witness heightened security presence along the road, which might have some impact on Traffic along that road.
