One of the buses belonging to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Friday, went up in flames around Agric bus-stop , Ikorodu.
This is coming a few days after the transport company restored its services ,having shut down operations across Lagos Metropolis for fear of possible attack by angry Lagosians over the alleged killing of a BRT passenger by the driver of the bus conveying her.
Videos of the fire incident which are trending online show people scampering for safety as the fire rages.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire has not been made public as at the time of filing this report, but it is definitely not due to attack as variously confirmed by eyewitnesses.
