“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength: …they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint”. Isaiah 40;31.

By referring to Nehemiah’s efforts at rebuilding the broken walls of Jerusalem as nothing more than a fox’s playground ( Neh. 4:3) Tobias intended to weaken the workers with poisonous words of discouragement. Goliath tried it on David by despising the boy’s simple weapons of a sling and stones.

Beloved of God, People may pass discouraging remarks just to cause us to lose focus. It can become a deadly weapon to cause us to fail. Like David and Nehemiah, above, refuse to surrender.
Reject all diabolical teasing.
Remember God encourages us through His promises.
He will never forsake you and your family. (Psalm 9;10)
He will go before you today to make a way for you.
All those who mock you today shall celebrate with you.
You will not fail in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
