BRT Murder: Sanwo-olu Sues For Calm; Asks The Public To Allow Police Do Their Job

During the visit

Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu of Lagos State has asked members of the public to remain calm and allow the police do their work in the case of the young girl that was allegedly abducted and murdered by a driver of the Bus Rapid Transit.

22 year old Bamise Ayanwole was allegedly abducted and killed after boarding a BRT vehicle on Friday last week

Mr. Sanwo-olu said this out of his belief that “some people are feasting on the sad incident for their selfish reasons.

He was speaking during a courtesy visit on him by the executive members of the National Association of Women Judges in Nigeria led by Justice Jumah Sankay.

He stated that it is a criminal case and that the police are the best persons to handle that.

The governor however gave an assurance that “We would watch and ensure that justice would be done at the end of the day”.
