A Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has found a kidnap kingpin, Chukuwuememe Onwuamadike, known as Evans guilty of charge of conspiracy and kidnapping pressed against him and two other members of his gang.
The defendants had earlier denied a two-count charge of kidnapping and conspiracy preferred against them.
The Lagos State Government had re-arraigned the defendants on 19th October, 2017.
The defendants are Evans, Uche Amadi, Ogechi Uchechukwu, Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu, Chilaka Ifeanyi and Victor Aduba.
However Justice Hakeem Oshodi found only three of the defendants guilty as charge.
They are Evans, Amadi and Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu
