#NnamdiKanu: Total Compliance To Lockdown Order In SE As The IPOB Leader Appears In Court Today

Across South Eastern Nigeria, markets are deserted, roads empty while shops are locked, as the people show total compliance to the lockdown rule often observed in the region averyday that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, appears in Court in continuation of his trial.

Mazi Kanu, an Igboman from Abia State, has been fighting for the freedom of his people, the Biafrans, who were massacred during the Nigerian Civil War when people from the region wanted to get their own country. In the region ,it has become a standard that lockdown is observed everyday the freedom fighter appears in court as well as every Monday, as a way of showing their solidarity to their own.

Reports from all the states in the region indicated that the lockdown order has been hugely successful today.

In the commercial city of Aba, Abia State, all markets have remained deserted while the roads are empty. This applies to other places in the region
