President Muhamadu Buhari has commended two Chieftains of his party, the All Progressive Congress, APC, the Minister of Transportation, Chief Rotimi Amaechi, and Business man, Alhaji Nasiru Danu, on the conferment of chieftaincy titles on them by the Daura Emirate Council.
Amaechi had served as Director General of the president’s election campaign for two times.
President Muhamadu Buhari described the conferment of the title of “Dan Amana”, meaning the Trusted One, on Chief Amaechi as a clear commitment to the harmonious relationship between the nation’s diverse cultures.
Alhaji Danu is being turbaned as “Tafida Babba” of Daura.
The President however commended the Minister of Transportation for working with enormous energy towards making the “Change” the Party promised Nigerians a reality, noting that the change Nigerians are witnessing in the Transport Sector, is an extraordinary legacy.
