The “Walk for Nature” rally, an initiative of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) to raise environmental consciousness and awareness among the citizenry, will be held on the 21st of October, 2023 across three locations in Lagos namely Ikeja, Kosofe and Lagos Island Local Governments.
Themed, “Solutions to Plastic Pollution” the event will feature the participation of dignitaries including Dr. Joseph Onoja, the Director General of the NCF, and Omobolaji Tajudeen Gaji, Permanent Secretary, Office of Environmental Services, Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, while Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will be the Special Guest of Honour.
The Communications Manager of NCF, Mr. Oladapo Soneye in a publication urged individuals as well as organizations to come on board and collaborate with them to make the event a huge success.
According to Soneye, “LASG MOE & NCF present the annual environmental advocacy programme tagged
