The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, today issued a statement ordering commercial banks to start accepting the old N500 and N100 notes from their customers.
This we gathered is to make the mopping up of the expired notes more seamless and reduce the large crowd of Nigerians that besiege the apex bank daily to return their old notes.
