Oando Foundation, NCF Clean up Lagos Community As Rainfall Increases

As the rains are about to fully set in, communities across the country have been urged to imbibe the culture of environmental sanitation including clearing of blocked drains and dumping refuse only at authorized places, to check flood incidents, usually associated with heavy rainfalls.

The Oando Foundation and its partners including the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, NCF, and children belonging to School Environmental Clubs, made the call while mobilizing residents of Orile in Apapa Iganmu Council to clean-up their surroundings during the Thursday Weekly Sanitation Exercise in Lagos State.

It is the initiative of Oando Foundation Nigeria, with Sumitomo Chemicals Japan providing the financial support while NCF is the implementing partner.
