We Are Created To Do Good

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Ephesians 2:10.

The theme of giving was key in apostle Paul’s writing to the Gentiles. He admonished them to leave their old lives behind and embrace the new one, saying they were saved by grace, a gift from God that is freely given. It is out of this conviction that the saving grace flows and our desire to do good works is rekindled, for we have been created in God’s image and are His handiwork.

Beloved of God, we don’t have to give material things to share God’s grace: we can show God’s grace through many other ways.
We can take time to listen to some one when they speak.
We can choose to encourage others as well.
As we give to others, the Lord also gives to us.
May His abounding gift be multiplied unto us today.
The Lord will help us to see the opportunity to give to others today in any form that will bring glory to God. Amen
