Suspected Killers Of Deborah Arraigned

The two suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Deborah Samuel, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto have been arraigned.

The suspects, Bilyaminu Aliyu and Aminu Hukunci were arraigned before a Sokoto Chief Magistrate Court.

Thirty-four lawyers led by Mansur Ibrahim appeared for the accused.

The prosecuting Police officer, Mr. Musa Khali told the Court that the matter was still being investigated.

The Magistrate ordered that the duo be remanded in a Correctional Centre.

Deborah was stoned to death by students of the college over alleged blasphemy.

Her father, Garba Emmanuel has since taken her corpse home and had buried her.
