We Will Never Cede Homeland To Criminals–Soludo Vows In Easter Message

The Governor of Anambra State remains resolute in his plan to contain activities of “criminals” in the state.

Professor Soludo in his Easter Message to people of the state said together, the war against criminals will be won.

This is coming as violence appears to be escalating in the state, even as supporters of the Indigenous People of Biafra have been warning the governor to soft pedal and resort to peaceful approach and dialogue in bringing about lasting peace.

Sharing his Easter Message on his verified Facebook page, Professor Soludo reiterated that “as a people, we will never cede or yield our homeland to criminals, stressing that “the irrepressible spirit of the good people of Anambra State shall always triumph”.

He therefore urged the people of the state to “continue to live in love and harmony as you also extend love to one another on this special occasion”.

According to the governor, “the solemn occasion of Easter calls for self introspection and deep sober reflection.

“It is symbolic because it marks the suffering, pains and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ after his crucifixion. This also marks exactly a month I assumed office as Governor of Anambra State….
