PDP Positioned For 2023 Election As Party’s Reconciliation Committee Submits Report

The People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) National Reconciliation & Strategy Committee (NRSC), which began work in December 2020, submitted its report today.

Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki announced this via Facebook.

He said ,”This afternoon, the PDP National Reconciliation & Strategy Committee (NRSC), which began its work in December 2020, submitted its report to the National Working Committee of our great party, led by our Chairman, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.

“After many months of meeting with PDP leaders and stakeholders across our nation, resolving disputes, and promoting cohesion within our ranks , I am proud of the work that our committee has done to reposition our party to deliver real solutions to the problems confronting our nation.

“I thank my colleagues on the Committee, former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim; former Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke; former Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema; former Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Ibrahim Dankwambo; former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives , Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola; and Hon. Linus Okorie the Committee’s Secretary, who all worked assiduously-traversing the length and breadth of our dear country to identify and resolve the stress points that have caused conflict at various levels of our party structure.

“We are optimistic, that with the work that we have done, our great party, PDP, its leadership and all its members, will be better positioned to return to the helm of the ship of the Nigerian state to successfully navigate the nation and its people towards sustainable socio-economic and political development”.
