Lady Christine Doja Otedola, the mother of Billionaire, Femi Otedola marked her 90th birthday in grand style. A birthday service in her honour was held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Epe, Lagos and prominent Nigerians from far and near including the governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu were in attendance.
The event also featured the dedication of the church. Lady Doja Otedola, a night of the Catholic Church was the First Lady of Lagos State between 1992 and 1993.
In a Facebook post, Governor Sanwo-olu wished her good health, while describing her as a humanitarian who has continued to serve the people even after her husband left office.
” I attended the church dedication and 90th Birthday service and thanksgiving in honour of Lady Christine Doja Otedola at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Epe.
“Lady Doja was the First Lady of Lagos State between 1992 and 1993, and the beloved mum of my dear friend and brother Femi Otedola
“A humanitarian who even after her service to Lagos State continued to serve the good people of Epe and indeed Lagos State.
“My prayer is that the Almighty God continues to grant her good health, peace of mind, and the will to continue to serve even as she advances in age. Amen”
