The Lagos State Public Works Corporation has reiterated its commitment to quality and high standards in the discharge of its road maintenance and rehabilitation operations across the state.

This assurance was given by the General Manager of the Corporation, Mr. Lateef Somide while reflecting on the tour of some of the on-going projects being undertaken by the Public Works Corporation.

Some of the roads covered during the site inspection are Muri Folami Street, Ogudu, Reeve Road, Ikoyi, Onilegbale Road, Ikoyi, Hon Idowu Eletu Road, Awoyaya, Ibeju Lekki, Ado Badore Road, Ajah as well as the Alternative route to Timberville, Agbowa.

Other sites visited include Ahmed Mohammed Street, Ogunyemi Damisa Street and Abubakar Road in Agbado-Oke Odo area as well as Dele Faniran Street, Alimosho, Babajide Sanwo-Olu Road, Dopemu and failed section of entrance of Solous 3 lawma dumpsite along Lasu-Iba Road.

According to Mr. Somide, the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has continued to support the Corporation in every possible ways with a view to not only expanding its reach to every corner of the state, but more importantly to ensure that all roads fixed are durable and of high quality.

The General Manager noted that the work being done by men of the Corporation are generally satisfactory, adding that plans have been made to ensure that all road maintenance and rehabilitation project of the Agency are completed in record time to minimize inconveniences that may be experienced by road users.
